The Wacko Products RV/AC Silencer kit claims a 3-6 decibel decrease in noise from your AC unit. This was the main reason that I decided to purchase and install these units for both of our Coleman Mach AC's which are very loud. Please note that I do have the Micro-Air Easy Start in both AC units. I do like the look of them over the stock filter housings that came with our RV.
