Actor Malcolm Barrett is staring in a new role on primetime television. Barrett is portraying a scientist named 'Rufus Carlin' on a the NBC series “Timeless". The science fiction drama takes you on a journey back into time, where a professor, engineer and scientist (Barrett) attempt to stop a criminal mastermind wanting to rewrite history. The crew uses a time machine to travel back in time and find themselves in the center of century year-old mysteries, all while Barrett, the black scientist, is reluctant to go for obvious reasons.
