An Alternate Universe story based on the idea of Sabé of Naboo and Obi-Wan Kenobi having a daughter, Rey, who is stolen by Vader then frozen in carbonite on a star destroyer that crashed when Luke defeated the Emperor. Eventually awoken on Jakku with no memories of her past, only lies told to her by those who would manipulate her and use her power to their advantage, she struggles to make sense of the strong instincts that tell her she has a place in the galaxy... but where? This is Rey's story of discovering her true identity. It never made sense to me that Rey would be a Palpatine, and I like the idea of her being a Kenobi to bring the Skywalker/Kenobi story full circle. SO, here it is! FYI for those confused, Sabé is a canon character - she played Padmé's decoy bodyguard and handmaiden in Episode I, The Phantom Menace. Keira Knightley played her.
