Slow Cook in the Instant Pot

This video will show you how to use your instant pot as a slow cooker. You can use a tempered glass lid or the IP lid when using the slow cook method. I absolutely love my instant pot. I tell people it does just about everything but wash clothes. You don't need a crock pot if you have an instant pot. You might be thinking, why do I need to slow cook with an instant pot? Some days you might want to leave your food cooking for a few hours or even several hours so that when you come home your food is ready to eat. That's the beauty of your instant pot. You can cook great food quick or slow. If you want to cook your food on slow cook and then you decide you need it done quicker, then you can turn it off and turn it on pressure cook or manual high and allow it cook for a few minutes under pressure (especially if your meat isn't as tender as you like). If you do this make sure you close your venting valve for pressure cooking. (Use a tempered glass lid when using the slow cook mode.)
