This is not TAS! It is stupid though. To my knowledge this is the first time LoLK Extra has ever been completed with the Random Attack Patch (at the cost of my sanity.) Basically Random Attack Patch randomizes every pattern. Every time an enemy or boss decides to shoot, it picks from literally every single pattern in the game (cool bug fact: this actually includes a couple of unused patterns too.) In any case this run is ridiculously strict. You can miss 2 life pieces through the entire thing. Usually one of them is going to be either chapter 2 or 3 (they are incredibly difficult to graze and require quick thinking.) This time I got lucky and grabbed both. Chapter 4 is a bloodbath, you will inevitably use up all your bombs and then die. So it actually doesn't really matter if you lose a shield or two before that. Doremy is absolutely murderous and usually kills runs immediately. If her 1st decides to be mean, you are screwed and it's time to reset. Luckily her patterns get easier and her 3rd is sometimes doable. The death at 4:33 is intentional, it's often pretty much required to have 3 shields to get the needed graze on the last 3 fairies. Also, dying on that section would lose a bomb which would be awful. Hecatia is pretty mean, her 1st non actually often presents a problem because ZUNcode makes it require 400 graze instead of 200. Thankfully I had an extra buffer life piece for this run so I just got to skip it. Junko 1st is really important because it absolutely must be speedkilled. Junko shoots insanely fast so the pattern gets ridiculous. In a lot of cases it's beneficial to literally just stand still and tank hits because the spell card dies so fast. Everything else is just gathering resources leading up to the survival which is probably the most horrific pattern I've ever had to deal with. If you are trying this run and you get to the final, shoot down Hecatia and not Junko! In the regular Extra, it's preferable to shoot down Junko because she shoots faster without her patterns becoming more complex. In Random Attack Patch, the only relevant factor is usually going to be how often a boss shoots! So shooting down Hecatia is going to make things much easier.
