Impervious to the wild, unfettered boisterousnous of Agen's nightlife (which has earned it its nickname of "Rio de Janeiro of Southern France"), Roland and I kept our nose to the grindstone well past midnight and recorded this little musical oddity at the end of a long session last week, to the delight of beslumbered neighbours --and tawny owls, looking in wide-eyed bewilderment at our feverish gesticulations through the windows. (Much as many people would like to see Roland as the new Messiah of French Free Jazz, the bright golden halo around him is not a nimbus nor some similar manifestation of the Holy Spirit, but solely the result of the auto brightness adjustment settings on my phone...)
