We recently picked up another new Norco at the shop, the 2023 Norco Fluid HT2 which caught our attention because it has all the new standard options like 12x148 boost thru axle in the back, 15x110 boost thru axle in the front, tapered head tube, dropper post standard, 1x11 drivetrain w/ clutch. The only thing you may want to upgrade in the future would be a nicer air fork. And if you don't want to hassle with that, just buy the HT1 which gives you an air fork and 12 speed drivetrain. #norcobikes, #norcofluidht, #beginnerhardtail If $899 is still too much, then consider the Norco Storm which we looked at last week. It doesn't have thru axles or a dropper post, but it does offer lots of frame and wheel size options, a 1x10 drivetrain with a clutch so could still be a great beginner bike for only $650. If you are a bigger rider and need more stiffness and also may want to upgrade wheels down the road, get the Fluid over the Storm.
