#tofurecipe #tofutikkamasala #grilledtofutikka Grilled Tofu Tikka Masala Servings - 2 - 3 INGREDIENTS Tofu - 440 grams Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon Salt - 1/2 teaspoon Chilli flakes - 1/2 teaspoon Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons Fresh cream - 60 grams BBQ sauce - 2 tablespoons Black cardamom - 1 pod Dry red chili - 2 Coriander seeds - 1 tablespoon Butter - 40 grams Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon Garlic - 2 tablespoons Ginger - 2 1/2 tablespoons Onions - 210 grams Tomato - 230 grams Green chili - 1 tablespoon Salt - 1/2 teaspoon Red chili - 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric - 1 teaspoon Garam masala - 1 teaspoon Fresh cream - 90 grams Water - 150 milliliters Coriander - for garnihsing PREPARATION 1. In a mixing bowl, add 440 grams tofu, 1 teaspoon garlic paste, 1 teaspoon ginger paste, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 60 grams fresh cream, 2 tablespoons bbq sauce and mix all the ingredients well. 2. Marinate for 20 minutes. 3. Soak skewers in water for 30 minutes. 4. Skewer the tofu in it. 5. Shallow fry till it turns golden brown in color from all sides. 6. Remove it from heat and drain it on an absorbent paper. 7. Take a pan, add 1 pod black cardamom, 2 dry red chili, 1 tablespoon coriander seeds and dry roast for 2 - 3 minutes or until it turns golden brown in color. 8. Remove it from heat and transfer this into a blender. 9. Blend it into a fine powder and keep aside. 10. Heat 40 grams butter in a skillet, add 1/2 teaspoon cumin and stir well. 11. Add 2 tablespoons garlic, 2 1/2 tablespoons ginger and stir for 1 - 2 minutes on medium heat. 12. Then, add 210 grams onions and fry till translucent. 13. Now, add 230 grams tomato, 1 tablespoon green chili and saute until it turns soft and pulpy. 14. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat. 15. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon red chili, 1 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon garam masala, prepared masala and mix it well. 16. Then, add 90 grams fresh cream and mix it well. 17. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat. 18. Add 150 milliliters water and mix it well. 19. Bring it to a boil. 20. Now, add the cooked tofu in it and mix it well. 21. Cook for another 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat. 22. Garnish with coriander. 23. Serve hot with roti.
