Last year I bought the HD-version of the Mi Drone but this 4K model is definitely a huge improvement over its HD predecessor. On the 4K-model the motor seems to have gotten a small upgrade, as do as it's propellors but mostly it's the camera that has many improvements. I have taken two of the 4K drones out to do some test shots recently and I was quite impressed with how much better its footage is when compared with footage from the HD model. Yes. It is a lot bulkier than some of its competitors' drones, but don't forget that the Mi Drone is more than half the price of what you pay for a Mavic for example. The Mi drone costs 2999 RMB in China, which is about 420 dollar and can be found for pretty similar prices online as well.
