In the first installment, I covered how to pick a converter for streetable driving. 1st to 2nd rpm drops: 5000 drops to 3016 5500 ...... 3317 6000....... 3619 6500........ 3921 7000....... 4222 I forgot to mention a point in the video, when I spoke about a high torque motor will need a more conservative converter. This is true, but also it may be you need an anti-baloon plate in the torque converter. I don't think it's necessary until you get above 500 ft pounds though.
