If you are a fmg and you want to settle in pakistan, then you must be ready for the things that you would never have expected. Only 30/40% students pass nle1 and 5-10% pass nle2 every year. Pmdc is only conducting these exams once a year recently and passing percentage has gone up by 70%. Even if you pass the exams, you wont be able to get the residency spot in THQS/DHQS. For BHU Medical Officer seat, the ratio to get a seat is 5/1000 and that is too with connections and filling their pockets. We live is a country where 10,000 people are attended to by just one physician on average. According to the Higher Education Commission (HEC), 15,000 doctors leave the country every year. Given these numbers, why does the government not make use of the many doctors that are available and only too willing to help?
