Igbaras

Igbaras is a municipality that is nestled within the Central Panay Mountain Range. These mountains feature rugged terrains and limestone faces that have attracted mountaineers and rock climbers alike. Mackie Makinano, with the blessing of the Iloilo Mountaineering Club (IMC), has been exploring and developing this very remote area for what is deemed as the next level in sport climbing in the Philippines. Igbaras is dedicated to those who push the limits of climbing and opening our minds to what is possible This film was produced in partnership with The North Face Philippines, and released in February 2020 to the pinoy climbing community via screenings at Recreational Outdoor Exchange (ROX). This film is supported by Sport Climbing Association of the Philippines and Climb Philippines.
