As voters cast their ballots in the 2024 presidential election, Philadelphia Inquirer Columnist Helen Ubiñas is in search of ways to cope with the possibility that the candidate she voted for doesn't win. "I have no doubt that supporters of both Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are feeling anxious," writes Ubiñas. "But, using history as a guide, it’s fair to say that only one group of supporters is worried about whether come January we’ll have an inauguration or an insurrection — or maybe even something worse." Ubiñas spoke with and visited Philadelphians who offered their advice, book recommendations, and even cocktail recipes to add to your self-care toolbox.
