After 4 and a half months, roughly 370 hours and 12,148 eggs, the Togepi finally shone for me on my first full day in my new apartment. I literally moved in the day before and hadn’t hunted for about 10 days. What a gift. I started this hunt so that I could advance through Platinum. I didn’t want to do some hunts further into the game only to delete the files so that I could get a Togekiss. I had a great time with the hunt, got 16 other shinies along the way and got my first ever egg shiny. Brilliant! Thank you to you all for cheering me on throughout this hunt.
