Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Kodiak Stainless Steel Disc Brake Caliper for 3,500 pound to 6,000 pound axles. Now, this caliper is constructed of stainless steel, for ultimate durability and rust resistance. The stainless steel construction prevents flexing, helps keep your braking torque consistent. And it is a self-adjusting design, so it does ensure smooth, even braking. Has a low drag ability, which will retract the piston further than your traditional models. Gives you less friction, leads to a lot cooler running brake. And I just want to pop up the pad here that comes with it. Remove the pad, and you can see that piston. It is a stainless steel piston. It is a two and a quarter inch diameter, which is 30% larger than most disc brake systems. This will give you increased braking torque, shorter stopping distances. And then the brake pads, one here, and then this one right here you can see. This will give you, provides superior performance for more consistent braking. Helps withstand high temperatures for maximum wear. The stainless steel construction on this is durable, rustproof, ideal for extended marine use. Does meet the 1000 hour salt spray rating. Now, this caliper will include the brake pads that we mentioned, the ceramic brake pads, that stainless steel piston, the dual port bleed screws right here. And then, the two stainless steel guide bolts, that'll let you install it onto the mounting bracket. Specs, again. This fits axle size 3,500 pounds up to 6,000 pounds. And the rotor diameter this works with is 10 inch to 12 inch diameter rotors. But that should do it for the review on the Kodiak Stainless Steel Disc Brake Caliper for 3,500 pound to 6,000 pound axles.
