Bad Review: TWO lots of BAD iBCrazy Antennas made by Video Aerial Systems - Bought from GetFPV.com

Howdy, 2 separate orders from GetFPV for iBCrazy antennas, 2 ISSUES WITH QUALITY. Not the cheeriest of topics to cover, but I feel important to share as we never really know what we're about to get when buying online. More details below, Press SHOW MORE for the full details. Firstly GetFPV.com, their customer support has been VERY good. BUT I'm having to find myself having to email them again today for a quality issue with the orders I have made with the iBCrazy brand of antennas (made by Video Aerial Systems). I'll soon have over 50 "unboxing" episodes of probably hundreds of #RC items that have arrived here that I have bought out of my own cash. To date, I've had very little issues. One order for £4.50 went AWOL from banggood and one fake SunnySky motor from eBay (in a later episode). So when two issues for the same brand of product from the same company happens in as many day's that stands out like a sore thumb. Both antennas, in both orders I have had issues with. The first set that arrived were these http://www.getfpv.com/ibcrazy-1-3ghz-... a premium product (anything at or around £50 in my head is a premium RC product). For the sake of 1p of packaging material they were put in a box where the plastic coating was left to wear off on the tips of the antenna. You've seen the weather here, winter is coming and it's only going to get worse. Bare metal like that will end up rusting over time. I contacted GetFPV via email, they apologized and offered a $15 refund. This was resolved in an afternoon. Happy days. Then the 2nd kick in the nads was the 2nd order for some 433MHz dipole antennas here http://www.getfpv.com/uhf-semi-rigid-... which arrived a day later. One of them looks perfect, the other looks like a child made it. Who's to blame for that? Technically GetFPV would be my direct point of contact as a consumer, however in this case because of the double whammy of issues, it really does reflect (fair to say badly?) on Video Aerial Systems who manufacture the products. Make your own mind up on the quality of the recent quality of iBCrazy antennas. In my case, it was "not good" (that's me politely implying it was shite). I hope you found this episode helpful. I don't like being negative, it's not how I'm wired, but in this case, most annoying, I expected more. As always thank YOU for watching & happy flying, Remember to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE!
