Dynamically Create Excel Table with Power Automate

In this tutorial Jonathon shows how to dynamically create an Excel table using Power Automate when the file is modified. This method can be applied to practically any data source or service that stores the file like OneDrive or SharePoint, for example, and is great for when you get a new batch of data each week in a file that is not yet formatted as a table - just add it and change the name and there you have a nicely formatted table automatically created that dynamically determines the boundaries on the row level! Here is the Excel formula that Jonathon uses to create the table in Excel: =OFFSET(Sheet1!A1,0,0,SUBTOTAL(103,Sheet1!$A:$A),14) 👍 If you enjoy this video and are interested in formal training on Power BI, Power Apps, Azure, or other Microsoft products you can use my code "Jonathon30" at check out when purchasing our On-Demand Learning classes to get an extra 30% off - https://pragmaticworks.com/pricing/ 00:00 - Introduction to Dynamically Creating Excel Tables with Power Automate 00:41 - Overview of the Excel Worksheet and the Desire to Dynamically Create Tables 01:14 - Emphasis on Dynamically Formatting Tables Regardless of Row Count 02:07 - Setting Up Power Automate Trigger for Item or File Modification in SharePoint 02:40 - Configuring the "Create Table" Action in Power Automate for Excel Online 03:11 - Utilizing the OFFSET Formula in Excel for Determining Table Range Dynamically 03:41 - Adjusting the OFFSET Formula Parameters, Including the Number of Columns 04:18 - Testing the Power Automate Flow for Dynamically Creating Excel Tables 05:18 - Demonstrating Successful Flow Execution and Checking the Result in Excel 06:26 - Conclusion -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Next step on your journey: 👉 On-Demand Learning - Start With The FREE Community Plan: https://tinyurl.com/2ujujsb5 🔗Pragmatic Works On-Demand Learning Packages: https://pragmaticworks.com/pricing/ 🔗Pragmatic Works Boot Camps: https://pragmaticworks.com/boot-camps/ 🔗Pragmatic Works Hackathons: https://pragmaticworks.com/private-tr... 🔗Pragmatic Works Virtual Mentoring: https://pragmaticworks.com/virtual-me... 🔗Pragmatic Works Enterprise Private Training: https://pragmaticworks.com/private-tr... 🔗Pragmatic Works Blog: http://blog.pragmaticworks.com/ Let's connect: ✔️Twitter:   / pragmaticworks   ✔️Facebook:   / pragmaticworks   ✔️Instagram:   / pragmatic.works   ✔️LinkedIn:   / pragmaticworks   ✔️YouTube:    / pragmaticworks   Pragmatic Works 7175 Hwy 17, Suite 2 Fleming Island, FL 32003 Phone: (904) 638-5743 Email: [email protected] #PragmaticWorks
