The Knox and Kane railroad was a short-line that operated in Pennsylvania. It was founded on ex-Baltimore and Ohio line and soon began freight service. When that started to dip due to failing industry, they began to offer tourist services through the scenic area and across the Kinzua Bridge. They also possessed two steam locomotives for this purpose: 38 and 58. However, due to forces beyond their control and despite their best efforts, it was not to be.
