Nick, the No Good, Icky Tick, an important bedtime story for kids and parents who love the outdoors

#readaloud #kidsreadaloudbook #kidsbooks Welcome to Sweet Tea Storytime! Let me read those bedtime stories, moms and dads. Sit back and relax. Title: Nick, the No Good, Icky Tick Author: Karen Gloyer Illustrator: Maryana Kachmar Publisher: Belle Isle Books www.karengloyerbooks.com www.belleislebooks.com This story tells a cautionary tale about the dangers of Lyme disease. Abby comes down with the disease and gets very sick. The author suffered intensely for 14 years before she got a proper diagnosis of Lyme's disease. This book is a terrific public service in the form of a story. Lots of information about the disease is included in the end notes. If you love the outdoors, this is an important book to keep in mind. PLEASE: Subscribe/like/share my channel, SWEET TEA STORYTIME ======================================================= To support me: Buy Me a Sweet Tea or connect at: https://buymeacoffee.com/beanjudgez ======================================================= #readaloud #kidsreadaloudbook #kidsbooks #e.j.'sstudio About our videos: I created SWEET TEA STORYTIME to give tired parents a way to "read" a story with their children. I know from personal experience how exhausted parents can be at day's end, so story time in our house was "daddy time". Save your sanity and have some fun. Let me read "Hamster Huey" for the zillionth time. Make story time the most enjoyable part of your day. Anybody can video a pair of hands turning picture book pages. I choose my stories for content and avoid about 90 percent of the fluff that passes for a picture book in order to share stories that are worth the paper they're printed on! As an elementary school teacher my favorite activity is always story time. As a freelance cartoonist I deeply appreciate the fabulous gift of illustration. So sit back and relax. It's SWEET TEA STORYTIME. Blessings. =============================== All credit and copyright is owned solely by the author, illustrator, and/or publisher. PLEASE support them by purchasing their books at your local bookstore. I rarely use all the illustrations for a story....I want you to discover the full effect when you buy that book for yourself. If you are an author or publisher of this book and would like me to remove it from my channel, I will do so immediately. I am an author and illustrator myself and respect your right to determine usage. Blessings to you all for sharing your gifts with all of us!!
