LigierJS2 restoration

Created in different variants throughout its career, for road or competition, the Ligier JS2 made its track debut in 1972, with three models lined up on the grid of the 24 Hours of Le Mans of that year. It racked up a sporting career on different terrains, from endurance circuits to rally tracks. After the 1-2 finish at the Tour de France Auto in 1974, equipped with a Maserati V6 engine, it got its best result in the 1975 classic Le Mans race: the #5 Ligier JS2-Ford DVF, driven by Jean-Louis Lafosse and Guy Chasseuil took second place at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. 88 Ligier JS2 chassis were produced between 1971 and 1975 including 3 intended for competition.
