Tiny Houseboat Adventures, Deland Florida

We had originally scheduled this trip in June but my wife’s father got sick so we had to reschedule it for October. I would definitely recommend this be a October trip as it had cooler nights and the day time was only in the 80s. We rented this antique houseboat from Tiny Houseboat Adventures in Deland Florida. It was quite the experience and we definitely enjoyed it to spite the mosquitoes on the last night. This was my fault for not bringing enough fuel for the Thermocell. The visit to Blue Springs was nice but I unfortunately forgot my camera on the boat. 😩 The next morning we went to Hontoon Island and showered. Then we went on a three mile hike. The last night we stayed on the Hontoon River which reminded me of the Satilla River back where I grew up. After showering the last morning on Hontoon Island again we quickly headed back to turn in the boat.
