Mate X rear shock replacement Step 1: Remove the top bolt first to check if it would fit the new rear shock, luckily my one it fit perfectly, so proceeded with the removal of the shock. Step 2: This covers a basic comparison of the two shocks and what the new shock came with. Step 3: proceed with adding the new shocks, first bolting on the shock using hands and then tightening them properly with the correct torque screw adaptor. Make sure that it is fitted the right way round and also the correct direction. Step 4: basic checks to see if it's all okay. I did not use any lubricants or anything, but I did after the video to make sure everything is running smoothly. I also removed the DNM sticker as I prefer the silver and gold look underneath. I have removed the rear lights from the rear rack and moved it to the seat. Looks perfect and works well. I will upload a video of this quick tutorial soon.
