General cargo ship Eems Drait arriving on the River Mersey. She was preparing to enter Alfred Dock on the Wirral side of the river. On her approach for some reason the turn was to far from the dock entrance and close to the wall. She hit the support structure of a ladder used by Orsted to offload crew members for the windfarms nearby. The were crew members at the bow section communicating with the bridge as usual practice, but the ship stil lmade contact. She did make it eventually into the dock.
