Pillinger is an abandoned port and townsite in Kelly Basin, on the south eastern side of Macquarie Harbour on the West Coast of Tasmania. A location very high on my bucket-list, somewhere i tried to get to about a year ago, but due to the bridge being closed i couldn't gain access, after seeing a post on facebook saying the new bridge is finished and the track is open again, i packed a bag and jumped in the ute. Sadly no Marley this time, due to the restrictions on dogs in nations parks, but she will definitely be back with me next time.
