When the fourth generation YZF-R1 was launched it immediately set new standards for cornering, performance and styling, and the wide range of engine and chassis changes introduced for 2006 are designed to enhance the R1 experience even further. This bike has been through our service department and passed a 89 pt. reconditioning & inspection process. Some of the points include a oil & filter change, flush and bleed of all brake/clutch fluids, inspection of all wear items, an electrical & charging system test, safety & lighting check, adjustment of controls, torque check of major fasteners, a diagnostic check with a scanner, and of course a test ride to check for proper operation of the bike. Our techs also completed the major service required for this bike, in addition to the services above: they replaced spark plugs, the air filter, and performed the critical valve adjustment. They also installed a new set of tires and both sets of brake pads. We are please to present this R1 in beautiful metallic blue paint with black wheels.
