Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), is a complex psychological disorder that can interfere with an individual's day-to-day life. Given the seriousness of the condition, the term “OCD” has found its way into casual vocabulary to describe someone who is not formally diagnosed, but faintly presents some of the behaviours associated with the disorder, like keeping organized or clean. This video will debunk four common myths associated with OCD, in an effort to provide a better understanding about the disorder, so that people are mindful when they use the term in casual vocabulary.
