Dear God, As we lay down to sleep, we thank you for the day that has passed. We are grateful for the moments of laughter, love, and joy that we shared with our family and friends and for the experiences that have helped us to grow. Psalm 4:8 says, "In peace, I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety." We thank you for the food we have eaten, for the clothes we have worn and for the shelter we have to sleep under. We are grateful for the safety and protection that you have provided for us throughout the day. Psalm 23:4 says, "Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me." We ask for your forgiveness for any wrongs we have done and for your help in doing better tomorrow. We pray for those who are suffering, for those who are alone, and for those who need your love and care. Psalm 91:4 says, "He will cover you with his feathers, and under His wings, you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and protection."
