Today is our longest cruising day yet on America's Great Loop for a total of 12 hours. We leave Belhaven, NC, go through the Alligator River-Pungo River Canal, up the Alligator River, and cross the Albemarle Sound to Elizabeth City. We take 3 hour shifts on the helm so the other person can work. It's a very full day including some hairy situations along the way.
