Learn how to fold a napkin into a Christmas tree with the napkin folding instructions in this Howcast video. For a festive addition to your place setting, we can make a Christmas tree. So what we're going to do is take your square and we're going to fold it in half. And then we're going to fold up the triangles on the top and the bottom. You have to give it a good crease there. But from here we're going to take the points and bring them into the middle. So now you have a square shape with two triangles. And then from your center line we're going to lift up and fold it in half, and see your triangle tree start to take shape. Now this fold right here that's sticking up, we're actually going to invert that and we're going to place it and press it down into the tree. So it's a reverse fold. So now you have one, two, three, four folds. Same thing on the other side. We'll take that and inverse the fold inward. So now that we've formed the tree, we are actually going to use a pin, or if you have a paper clip at home you can use it for the top, to just help adhere the folds together. So I'm just going to pin it right in there at the top. So then we can transfer our tree to our place setting. And then we're going to add a little adornment on the top, a little gold star. And I actually just made this one using card stock and yellow paper and cut out a star. And if you slit the top and you slit the bottom, you can actually create a 3D star. I'm going to add that little star to dress our Christmas tree. And that's how you make a Christmas tree folded napkin.
