How to Farm Giant Clams in Summerset - Make Gold as a New Player [slightly outdated!]

Update: because of some balance changes to the magicka food, clams are not as expensive as they once were which lowers the gold efficiency of farming clams for gold. It is however just as good if you want the clams for yourself, the spots haven't changed at all, just the food you craft with clams is not as good. In this video I try to explain some of the paths/rotaions and details I do and use while farming giant clams. Giant clams are a very good source of gold if you like to run around the map brainlessly while watching a video, listening to a podcast, or just exploring Summerset. Some things I forgot to mention in the video: - Instead of using Coward's Gear use Adept Rider's. This set gives both 30% movement speed when walking/running, but it also gives you 30% while riding, making it better than coward's overall, plus it's a crafted set so you can ask someone to craft it for you, or just craft it yourself. The crafting station is located in shimmerine, and in most guild halls. - If you do install harvestmap, you need to activate the option to show the clams on the map as it's disabled by default. To do that open your map, and on the right side there's a tab for "filters" which should show all the options for all the pins. - It's better to craft the food and sell that food, instead of selling the clam galls/powdered. To sell the food/loot you will need to be in a trading guild, or you can try to sell them in zone chat. Feel free to comment bellow for any questions!
