Livin' Like Locals: The Ring Road of Iceland - Part 1: Borgarnes to Myvatn

Welcome to the very first episode of our new travel show, "Livin' Like Locals." We're starting with the Ring Road of Iceland. This was a trip we did in the summer of 2021, just as countries were opening up to travelers. In this video, we showcase our first few days on the road, as we traveled Northeast. We explore waterfalls, a crater, Lake Myvatn, as well as a "Game of Thrones" filming location. This episode takes up from Borgarnes to Akureyri. We explored a Viking Museum, visited our first Iceland spa, and visited the amazing rock formation known as the Dimmuborgir Lava Pillars. This was our first time traveling in a few years and as such we started fulfilling a long time dream of creating a travel show. These first few days on the Ring Road were so exciting as we loved exploring a new country once again - even if we had a drone crash!
