Built in 1878 integral to York Railway Station, The Principal Hotel is a magnificent building built of Yellow Scarborough Brick.. We're staying in a Garden View Double Room and we'll have a full room tour. We'll check out the elegant public rooms, including the charming Garden Room, where guests indulge in delightful afternoon tea. Next, we'll stroll through the picturesque streets of York, visiting iconic sights like York Minster and the historic Shambles. After a day of exploration, we'll unwind with a glass of red wine in the cozy Chapter House bar at the hotel. Finally, we'll wrap up our stay with a delicious breakfast the following morning.
