This video provides a brief overview of the Coucy Castle Source Book PDF that I've published through DriveThruRPG. The PDF can be downloaded from: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/produ... This 64-page PDF is divided into three sections. The first section lays out some history about the Coucy lineage, and gives some historical details about the construction and use of the castle. The second section provides translations of Viollet-le-Duc's articles about aspects of the castle, and the fortifications of the town known as Coucy-le-Château; he wrote these articles based, in part, on his experience as the architect who oversaw the restoration of the castle, in 1875. The last section briefly fills in some additional details that may be useful in running the location as a setting for a tabletop role-playing game.
