Neal has been constantly working on our 1972 BMC 6 cylinder diesel motor. He has fixed, changed, replaced, and drained. He has brought to old girl back to life! In 2018 we moved aboard our current home, a 1974 John Samson built, 55 foot ferrocement staysail schooner Kiva which had been abandoned for 10 years. Originally built to travel through the fierce Northwest Passage, she became stuck in the Homer, Alaskan pack ice after a late season departure. The custom hull design allowed the crew to sail out the following Spring, completely unharmed.
