Hey guys!! Check below for allll the answers to your questions :) So for those of you that watched my last hair color video (the purple/fushia color) you know that my hair has faded a lot! I actually liked the color that my hair changed to, but it was a little dull and the blonde underneath was staring to show through. I reallllly loved the dark red color that Rihanna wore a while back so I drew inspiration from there. (check out my Instagram @mini_marley to see my inspiration pic!) I absolutely love the results! IT IS VERY IMPORTANT that you know that my hair was bleached in the past (check my last color video for deets on that) and also dyed purple so I was starting with a different color than you may have in your hair. See you soon - XOXO Minimarley The Colors I Used: 1 Bottle of ADORE Cinnamon : http://amzn.to/2uPRYkA 1 Bottle of ADORE Crimson : http://amzn.to/2tux1YJ 1/2 Bottle of ADORE Copper Brown : http://amzn.to/2eIjIBh I know that there are two bottle of Cinnamon in the video, but as you will see when I am mixing the color, I decided not to use one of them because I liked the way the color looked without it. You can use whatever color combo you want, just go to your local beauty supply and you will find a large selection of colors by this brand. My mother is a professional cosmetologist and recommended I use this brand because of my hair history with color. Other brands that you can check out include Manic Panic, One & Only Argon Oil and Pravana. These are the only colors I have experience with and can recommend. As mentioned in the video I left the dye in my hair for one hour and then followed up by washing and deep conditioning my hair. **A lot of you are asking why my roots didn't turn red like the rest of my hair. In order for dark hair to take a vibrant color it HAS to be lightened or bleached in some way so that the darkness can be removed in order for the color to be deposited. I bleached my hair in September to get the purple color which is why the majority of my hair took the red. My roots are completely natural and have never been lightened so they will only have a red tint under sunlight. To get them as red as the rest of my hair I would have had to lighten them first.** Check out my last color video for more info on getting bright colors on dark hair, or to find out how I achieved my previous color: http://bit.ly/1xnmD5v NOTE: When you wash your hair the dye will continue to show in the water for weeks. When my hair gets wet it still drips pink water. Thats normal. I DID NOT experience the color rubbing off on my clothing or pillow however. When rinsing the dye out just get out as much of the color as you can and follow up with one round of shampoo. The water WILL NOT run completely clear. Girl don't waste your time lol. Follow MEEE!
