Charlie (13 months) is supervising my study time, basking in the sun, and also stomping all over my lettuce and herb gardens. It's a full day for lizard kind, for sure. The outside air temp is 50-ish Fahrenheit (10.5 Celcius). The surface temp of his defacto basking spot on the table is about 102 Fahrenheit (38.8 Celcius) with a uv reading of about 1.1 on my solarmeter 6.5R. His surface temp at his filmed resting place on the garden top is 88.6 Fahrenheit (31.4 Celcius). We're doing all right with feeding 3x a week, but I've given up on feeding him dubia... In fact, I donated my roach bin to a local reptile rescue a few weeks ago. All his mealworm pupae have either been eaten or have emerged as adults. He's definitely not as big of a fan of the adults, and I've noticed he's getting fussy about accepting them again. I'll be looking to see if anyone has silkworms in stock. In the meantime, just as soon as I'm done with my 2 exams and a lab report, I'll go to the pet store and grab some hornworms because he loves those and he's been such a good boy lately.
