LOS LLANOS - the paradise of ornamental fish

Venezuela, Los Llanos. It is February and the dry season in the State of Apure. Our base camp is near the "Rio Naure", one of the southern tributaries of the "Rio Capanaparo". We have traveled 11.000 km to get here. Getting to the next civilized village would take us nine hours by car. For several weeks we have set up camp to the best of our abilities. In our camp we have stocks that will last for at least three weeks. The camp will be our starting point for several field trips. All of them have just one aim: fishing! We want to catch fish, take photos of them, and if possible film them in their natural biotopes. (Short version of the film for IPTV)
