Today we are exploring an abandoned nature walk just minutes from the Carolina/San Juan airport. The Piñones Boardwalk is a beautiful walk with a great biodiversity, just minutes from the Luis Muñoz Marin Airport. Sadly, it's been abandoned and no maintenance has been done to this nature spot. In recent years, the government has proposed a budget to fix this boardwalk but as of today, the boardwalk still in rough shape. We really hope the government fix this boardwalk area, because it's an incredible, beautiful nature spot minutes from the Metro area and the beach.
