Also one wrong choice at the end of each chapter will make a lot of change to your child's like and abilities so be careful The last part is different if you choose an ending except farming/ranching. Your spouse will be the one who will run your farm in memory of you 🏕️ For Ranching and Farming, based on my experience you need to give gifts or show items almost everyday to your child if you did not marry Matthew/Cecilia. You also need to bring your child to your field or barn/coop 📚 For Academics just bring your child to the dig site, be friends with the two diggers and as well as the scientist/doctor. Show items like the figurines or fossils. For gifts, I can only give them the gemstones 👫 The others are fairly easy if your spouse matches with your child's abilities. If not, befriend the villagers who matches their likes/abilities if items are currently not available 🎨 Abilities comes first before Likes. Doesn't matter if they like Ranching but if their Ability is still Art for example, the year end events will still show that your child likes Art. Just choose the negative option if your spouse thinks or wants your child to be for example in here an Artist. This is based on my experience when on year 3 and 4 my child still has abilities for Art and Likes for Ranching 📦 Wooden box when answered positively increases Academics, Tree branch increases Art, choose nothing will not increase these two and your child may have more chance for Ranching/Farming ❓When your kid asks something, correct them if you want to boost their skill ( ie you showing them sickle and them saying its a hoe ). When you give butter and they ask where it comes from, choose with milk for Ranching, with machine for Academics, with love I guess for friendship meter 🫛 Hybrid crops when gifted increases Academics not Farming. Milk/egg increases Ranching.
