Ryron and Rener traveled to Ohio to present the SafeWrap™ system the Department of Public Safety. This is the first time the system has been presented to leaders at all the essential public safety sectors in a State at the same time: Highway Patrol, EMS, Fire, Corrections, School Safety, Healthcare/Hospitals, and Local Police/Sheriff Departments. We look forward to the day when all law enforcement officers, all first responders, and all healthcare professionals speak the same language when it comes to the safe and effective restraint of aggressive, suicidal, or emotionally disturbed individuals. Lives will be saved. The class started with four of the officers in attendance trying to take Rener into custody using conventional prone restraint, and based on the outcome, the need for a safer and more effective alternative has never been so clear.
