This premium-looking flip phone is one of the most affordable clamshell-type foldable smartphones yet. Priced at PHP 29,999 in the Philippines, this device is shaking up the standards in its range. The device boasts a lychee-pattern classic leather at the back and the "Planet Cover Screen" with a center-aligned 1.32-inch circular AMOLED panel with 466 x 466 resolution at 352 ppi at 800 nits peak brightness. The cover screen has customizable wallpapers, Tmojis (TECNO's version of Memoji), 3D interactive virtual pets, and more. It also has Swipe Shots to easily access the camera, "quick reply" to messages, Smart Widgets with the weather forecast, vitality rings, timer, sound recording, agenda, stopwatch, and alarms. For the mains screen, it has a "crease-less" 6.9-inch UTG-protected LTPO AMOLED screen with 10-120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming, FHD+ 2640 x 1080 resolution at 413 ppi, 1,000 nits peak brightness, a 94.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. The new hinge of the foldable called the "FreeCam System" allows its users to fold the device at 30 to 150 degrees which is stable at any angle helping content creators take selfies and photos more easily. The device is made with aircraft-grade metal materials and can survive up to 250,000 folds or 6.8 years at 100 folds per day. There will be a minimal 0.11mm crease after 200,000 folds. For a budget foldable phone, the device has a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 8050 octa-core processor with Mali-G77 MC9 GPU, 8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage, and a 4,000mAh capacity that can last for an entire day with USB-C 45W fast charging that can charge the device from 0 to 100 percent in 45 minutes. For cameras, it has a 64MP f/1.7 RGBW sensor with PDAF + 13MP ultra-wide-angle + LED flash and a 32MP with AF and Micro-slit Dual flash for selfies. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, dual-band WiFi, 5G, 4G LTE, BT 5.3, and Android 13 OS with HiOS 13.5 skin with Ella GPT assistant that uses Ella 3.0 tech connected to ChatGPT.
