Railfanning at Denville Junction: Featuring NJ Transit Morristown & Montclair-Boonton Lines

Shot 3/12/20. On my way to Pennsylvania during Spring Break, I decided to stop at this station since it was right off of Interstate 80 and I have always wanted to check out this station. Turns out this was the railfanning video I got before the coronavirus quarantine began! This is a neat station since it's literally in the middle of the split off point for the Morristown and Montclair-Boonton lines. This portion of the Montclair-Boonton line doesn't have a lot of trains since the Montclair-Boonton line is a weekday only commuter line (excludes Bay Street to Hoboken) and this portion of the Montclair-Boonton line is past electric territory for the Montclair-Boonton line. So most of the trains came from the Morristown line. However, trains from both lines are featured in this video. This is a really cool station! Defiently worth checking out if your in the area.
