Lengthen dress with gathered frill contrasts fabric

When a dress is too short, there are a number of things you can do to extend it. My client purchased some chiffon in a plain color that almost matched the dress which is a floral design. I think she chose really well, because the dress looked like the extension had always been there. She decided on a gathered look. I added 12.5 cm (5 inch) to the dress.
