Evening Freight Trains & Locos at Lehrte | 5th September 2023

After I arrived at my hotel in Hannover where I'd be staying for 3 nights, I thought I'd go out in the evening to Lehrte on the outskirts of the city which is a decent freight hotspot. I was only here 2 hours or so but still got a good amount of freight including a few of mixed goods trains, a coal train and a couple car trains, as well as a brand new HSL Eurodual in a special '20 Years of HSL' celebratory livery and even a preserved BR 215! There's a nice old signalbox here which now houses a model railway, as well as a collection of old signals on the abandoned part of the platform.
