Bestowed with an amazing concept and message following up the season 7 episode "Discordant Harmony", "Being Natural" is eksoka's highly anticipated debut on the channel, as the Japanese pony musician has been gracing us with gorgeous tunes for a while. We're happy to present you "Being Natural", a Flutter-y Progressive House spark of beauty, delivering both divine Flutterchops and mellow melodies to convey a strong message we can all relate to. S07E12 "Discordant Harmony" not only was a very heart-warming episode sharing much love, it also had a very powerful morale that bronies are living up to every day. As Fluttershy said it very well in that episode, "Being normal is destroying you"! Don't try to be someone else just to fit in a crowd or to please, just be your true, natural self, even among friends, especially among friends, because they will respect and love you for who you really are! Rebelling against society's norms, bronies know a thing or two about being their true selves and admitting their love for a "girly" show to the world, thus the morale from that episode could act like a sort of anthem for our community. And that morale is precisely what this song is about! In reaction to the episode, eksoka felt the passion to pay tribute to that beautiful meaning using the magic of music, something he's shown to be very potent in. And the result is nothing short of breathtaking - an expert Progressive House instrumental bringing some slick Trance vibes, an aerial and literally uplifting mood, emotional synth melodies, and delightful Flutterchops to light the way and remind us of the wonderful pony who teaches the morale in that episode. So after managing to mask out the background of the original artwork after many tries with different color keying effects, I thought I'd reflect the aerial/uplifting mood of the track and make it look like Discord and Fluttershy are soaring up in the sky, with clouds (and magical orbs of love) moving downwards. Also for the record, it's not because that artwork happens to be a romantic shipping picture from an artist who did lots of those, that I'm going to keep that meaning for this video. I personally ship them as friends, and I believe friends should be allowed to do intimate things to express the love they share too. So I headcanon this picture as a possible fitting continuation to that episode! It IS a picture about that episode after all. Of course, you're free to have your own interpretation of it!
