All three of these designers were innovators creating methods for pleating, stenciling metal paints on silk velvets, as well as processes for dying fabric. Their stylized garments captured the aesthetic of the time where women dressed in less restrictive, more freeing garments. The Delphos Gowns were an admired fashion, which were worn by Isadora Duncan and Sandra Bernhardt.
