LIVE LOOP PERFORMANCE OUTDOORS (NO TALKING)-Novation Circuit Tracks, iPad, Loopy Pro, Microfreak

Hey guys ! A recent music project/obsession of mine was to figure out how to perform my beats live. I am mainly a lofi and jazz hop producer, but have never played my songs live. Finally figured out how to do it by putting together things I already had ! I go through the setup in the video. But here it is again in point form: I am running Loopy Pro on the iPad as the main looper the iPad is connected via USB hub to a Scarlett 4i4 audio interface the midi clock from Loopy Pro is the master clock. I send this midi signal out to the circuit tracks, which is slaved I play the beat and synth tracks live on the circuit tracks (which is looping the beat, the beat does NOT loop on the iPad) additionally, I slave a micro freak to the synth channel 3 of the circuit tracks for more creative flexibility finally, audio inputs from the circuit tracks, micro freak and guitar all go back into the 4i4, and the audio inputs are routed back into loopy pro Loopy Pro configuration input from the circuit tracks is on its own the input from the guitar is set to go to the looping portion of the app electric guitar effects are inserted on the input channel using an app called tonestack pro I have a separate input channel with an octaver setup as a bass guitar imitation I have loopy pro midi clock set to a 25-30 millisecond delay in order to get the clicks from the circuit tracks and loopy pro to sync up. you may have to experiment yourself to find how much delay to introduce I also have reverb effects inserted on the input channels I have loopy pro set to record in separate audio tracks. I then put all the tracks together again in a DAW (I use logic) and export for final video. This gives me the chance to apply some final EQ and compression for every loop separately ! (amazing IKR) I hope you enjoy and I'll be experimenting more AND.... everything works on 2 power banks. I use a power bank for the Scarlett 4i4 and the micro freak, the iPad and the circuit tracks has its own battery. Check out my lofi music: https://open.spotify.com/artist/41963...
