Hey Guys! Welcome back to another scooter Tutorial. In todays scooter tutorial, i am going to tech you how to Fakie on a scooter. Learning how to properly fakie is a skill that you can constantly work on and get better at, no matter how long you've been riding for. Simply learning how to roll backwards and get yourself out of a 180 is very helpful. It also opens up an entire new category of tricks to try. It's so much fun to roll backwards and link tricks together. and the best part about fakies is you can literally be at any skill lever to learn them. 0:00 How To Fakie 1:30 Pre/ recommendations : Helmet, Flat ground or small bank/ quarter pipe or halfpipe, and basic scooter control 1:45 Step 1: Start by standing still on your scooter and just balancing 2:00 Step 2: Take one foot off and practice pushing and rolling back. Sift your body weight side to side and use your handle bars to steer and keep you center. You gotta stay loose. If you're all stiff and rigid this trick is going to take a lot longer to learn. 10:15 Key points/Tips: Practice this over and over again. The more you go backwards the better you’ll be at it. The key is to eventually be so comfy that steering while you’re going backwards isn't something you even have to think about anymore. Try this on a halfpipe. You can practice going backwards for minutes at a time.
