It was clear it hadn’t eaten in days, and its fragile body showed signs of injury. I knew I couldn’t just walk away. I approached slowly, offering food and water. The puppy was hesitant at first, but hunger won over fear, and it began to eat. Its leg seemed badly injured, so I decided to take it to the vet immediately. At the vet, they confirmed the puppy’s leg was broken and one of its eyes was infected. The vet team worked quickly to provide treatment, and I brought the puppy home to care for it. For the next few weeks, I followed the vet’s instructions—administering medication, eye drops, and taking the puppy outside for short sunbathing sessions to improve its skin. I also bathed it with medicated shampoo to help with its healing. Day by day, the puppy grew stronger. Its fur became healthier, and the fear in its eyes was replaced with trust. Watching the puppy transform from a weak, injured stray into a playful, healthy companion was a heartwarming journey.
