So, you've renovated your yard and are starting to see all sorts of problems coming up as you're watering your seed. You have some of the existing problem grasses coming up, there are weeds everywhere, and there are some bare spots. What should you do now? I can say with now 5+ cool season grass renovations under my belt you can take confidence in the fact that you took all of the necessary steps and some of these problems are simply inevitable and easy to solve. Weeds are easy to spray out and, especially with a KBG renovation, the bare spots will fill themselves in. If you planted rye or TTTF, those are easy and quick to get germinates so simply throw out a bit more seed in the bare spots. I want to continue to be the resource you use to just relax and have a little bit of faith in yourself. Simply don't panic, don't get carried away, follow good cultural practices of mowing, watering, and fertilizing, and you will be just fine no worries at all.
